| About Clayton |
Clayton graduated from Southern Illinois University in May 2008 with a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. His first exposure to diet and exercise happened in high school while wrestling. He was asked to lose a certain amount of weight to become more competitive. In short, at the end of the season, he did not re-join the wrestling team, instead football and weight training became his main focus. Prior to college, he served in the United States Air Force as a Medical Technician. He has always had an interest in the medical field and wanted to help others who suffered from disease states or medical conditions. Staying physically fit for active duty helped strengthen his passion for nutrition. |

| While attending SIU, he spent a great deal of time organizing and working as one of the Vice Presidents of the Weight Lifting Club. He enjoyed helping younger members with nutrition and exercise related questions. Being a point of contact for the members helped enforce his previous experiences and education as a dietetics student. His dietetic related interests include -- weight management/weight loss, sports nutrition, metabolism research, nutritional biochemistry, nutrition awareness and public health. He one day hopes that with his leadership skills and outgoing personality he can raise the level of respect that dietitians so deserve. Outside of nutrition, Clayton likes to spend time outdoors, ride motorcycles, work on automotive related projects, and spend time with his wife Stephanie, daughter Satyanna and their Bull Terriers, Tarmo and Dresda. |
